Treatment details
The procedure for the O-Shot for women and the P-Shot for men is essentially the same, except for the specific areas where injections are administered.
When you arrive for your appointment, the genital area will be numbed with a topical anesthetic, followed by a numbing injection.
After this, blood will be taken from your vein and will be placed inside a centrifuge, which is a device that spins the blood to separate the red blood cells from the platelet-rich plasma.
Once the plasma is separated, it will be put into a syringe and then injected into the body. The PRP injections are done in the clitoris and the surrounding labia minora.
Every patient has a different pain tolerance, but most patients report feeling only minor discomfort due to the numbing agents. Typically, O-Shot appointments last a half hour.
