How does laser hair removal work?
Our laser hair removal in Gun Barrel City works by emitting a concentrated beam of light that is absorbed by the melanin (pigment) in the hair. The light energy converts to heat, which damages the hair follicles responsible for hair growth. This damage inhibits or delays future hair growth. The Motus AY system we use is particularly effective because it uses a wavelength that targets the hair follicle while minimizing discomfort.
