Botox
Botox is the world’s leading wrinkle relaxer. It’s primarily used to correct dynamic wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows (frown lines), and around the eyes (crow’s feet). However, it can also be used to soften other facial wrinkles formed due to the overuse of certain facial muscles to produce expressions, such as frowning and laughing.
Botox belongs to a category of injectables known as neuromodulators. It’s made of the primary ingredient botulinum toxin type A, which can block communication between nerves and targeted muscles. When injected carefully into facial tissues, Botox temporarily paralyzes the muscles responsible for your wrinkles, thereby softening your expression lines. The results last for 3 to 4 months.
