Vampire facial treatment details
When you arrive for your vampire facial at any of our Genesis Lifestyle Medicine locations, your skin will be cleansed and you will be given a topical anesthetic to help minimize any discomfort during the microneedling or microdermabrasion part of the treatment.
A small amount of blood will be drawn from a vein, usually in the arm. This blood will be placed within a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the platelet-rich plasma in layers.
Once this has been done, the platelet-rich plasma will be added into a syringe so that it can be incorporated into the rest of your treatment, which typically either involves microneedling or microdermabrasion. Either way, your very own platelet-rich plasma will be infused into your skin. This means that there is no risk of an allergic reaction, as the treatment simply uses your own blood.
The result is glowing skin that is rejuvenated and radiant.
